The Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event is one of only seven CCI5*-L events in the world and attracts some of the best international eventing competitors to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Over the years, the event has expanded with the additions of the Cosequin® Lexington CCI4*-S, and the Kentucky International CSI5*. In 2025, the event became the only event in the world, outside of a world championship, to host a CCI5*-L, CCI4*-S, and CSI5* during the same weekend. 

The event also hosts a massive trade fair, demonstrations and a variety of food and beverage options for the thousands of spectators who attend each year.
